Arxia – Driving external visibility and political recognition for the private security sector

As public services face increasing pressure and the security landscape continues to evolve, the need for stronger collaboration between public and private actors has never been greater. To support this conversation, Arxia organised a ministerial visit to enhance the crucial role private security plays in ensuring public safety. To maximise the initiative’s impact beyond the event itself, they partnered with us for strategic communication and public affairs support. Our objective was clear: transform a sector visit into a broader public-interest conversation and reinforce the political recognition of private security as a key societal partner.

Our approach:

- Defining a bulletproof narrative: We developed sharp key messages and clear proof points to ensure a consistent, compelling story for the minister throughout the event, making every talking point effective.

- Bringing expertise to life: We created tailored visual materials and communication assets to highlight the sector's expertise and core messages. This included a presentation, a dedicated briefing document for the minister, and a brochure for participants designed to foster clear and effective dialogue.

- Coordinating targeted media outreach: We identified and invited key journalists, managed real-time press interactions, and issued press releases to turn the site visit into a wider public conversation.

- Extending the conversation through social media: We captured key moments on-site and transformed them into engaging social media content and an aftermovie. This allowed Arxia to amplify its message online and strengthen its positioning as a credible voice in the debate around public safety partnerships.

Our results:

The communication strategy successfully increased the sector's external visibility. Interviews with Filip Smeets and Bernard Quintin secured coverage across leading media outlets, resulting in major articles and TV appearances. Beyond media success, the initiative generated strong engagement on LinkedIn, helping to position Arxia as a credible reference in the ongoing dialogue about public safety and public-private collaboration.
